The inviting waters of Little Smoky Lake in Michigan's U.P. are perfect for swimming, snorkeling, water sports or simply lounging on an air mattress all afternoon.  For the fisherman in the family, the lake is loaded with walleye, bass and pan fish (click here to learn more about fishing on Little Smoky Lake).  There are also plenty of other fantastic fishing lakes, in the area, to explore.   A nearby trail system gives you easy access to hundreds of miles of the Upper Peninsula.  Conclude your day from your campfire chair as you watch the sun go down across the lake.

Nearby activities include a golf, snowmobiling, hunting, dining, cross county and downhill skiing, nature trails, unique fairs and craft shows, and shopping.

Abundant wildlife are frequently seen on and around Little Smoky Lake.  Loons, eagles, herons, and hawks frequent the lake, while grouse, coyotes, and the elusive bobcat also make this area home.

Enjoy plentiful fishing in the summer or ice fishing in the winter for walleye, bass, yellow perch and sunfish in Little Smoky Lake. Little Smoky Lake is about 100 acres in size and is 35 feet deep.  The lake has no restrictions so it is great for boating.  There is a public boat landing at a park on the north end of Little Smoky Lake called Holmes Park.

The wooded property has a lake view and has towering hemlocks and elegant stands of birch and maple which turn into dazzling array of color each fall.  Plentiful wildlife of deer, bear, grouse and ducks.  The loon's distinct call can be heard while the hawks and eagles soar overhead.
